Rachel Stahl is a Senior Clinical Dietitian at New York-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP)/Weill Cornell Medical Center where she specializes in diabetes, cardiovascular health, and digestive diseases. In addition to providing medical nutrition therapy to hospitalized patients, she leads a variety of glycemic control initiatives, serves as a preceptor for dietetic interns, and is actively involved in both patient and interdisciplinary education. Rachel completed her undergraduate degree at Colgate University, Dietetic Internship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and received her Master's Degree in Clinical Nutrition at New York University.

An active member in the dietetics professional community, Rachel is currently the Immediate Past-President of the Greater New York Dietetic Association (GNYDA) and member of the GNYDA Public Relations Committee, and has served as President and Newsletter Editor. Keeping with her college roots and sharing her passion for wellness, she also serves as Communications Chair for Colgate University's Health and Wellness Professional Network. Rachel is a proud recipient of the Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year in 2016 and Jack Bellick Award in 2015 through NYSAND.

Jonathan is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition, and Certified Case Manager. He is the owner of Genki Nutrition doing media and recipe development and analysis. He is also a Virtual Dietitian for Healthfirst, working in Managed Long-Term Care.

Jonathan earned his Bachelor degrees in Food Science & Human Nutrition from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He then completed his MBA and dietetic internship coordinated program at Dominican University in Chicago, Illinois. Before and during his internship, he was awarded "Diet-Technician Registered of the Year" from 2011-2012 and 2012-2013.

Jonathan is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as the Online Professional Development Coordinator and the Greater New York Dietetic Association as the Public Policy Coordinator. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, pole dancing, cooking and photography.

Hannah Smith is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist; she is the Eastern Region Clinical Nutrition Manager for Rochester Regional Health. In this role Hannah oversees the Registered Dietitians working in the two acute hospitals, two nursing homes, adult day program, inpatient rehab, out-patient counseling and cardiac rehab at two locations, in Clifton Spring and Newark, NY. Hannah enjoys collaborating with community partners in her current role to promote wellness to employees and the public.

Hannah earned her bachelor's degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and completed her Dietetic Internship at Syracuse University.

Hannah is an active member of both the New York State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Genesee Dietetic Association. In her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her family, architecture, home design, playing softball, running, being a New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills fan.

Hannah lives in Newark, NY with her husband Josh and their daughter Liliana.

Michelle Barber has been a practicing Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for more than 10 years. Passionate about health and wellness, Michelle enjoys educating individuals on how to make a healthy lifestyle manageable and fun! Michelle is currently at the American Dairy Association North East as a Nutrition Specialist where she has a strong focus on child nutrition.

Michelle completed her undergraduate education at Rochester Institute of Technology and received her Master's in Nutrition from the Syracuse University. She is an active member of both the New York State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Central NY Dietetic Association.

Ilene Cohen, MS, RDN, CDN, CDE, C-IAYT, is a NYC-based, nationally recognized Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Diabetes Educator, and IAYT-certified yoga therapist. Ilene is a sought-after presenter of CPE webinars, speaking engagements at local and national conferences, and has been featured on radio, local television and in publications including Self Magazine and Yoga Journal.

Her private practice and company, PranaSpirit Nutrition & Wellness, specializes in mind-body integrative and functional medical nutrition therapy and therapeutic yoga. As an RDN entrepreneur, Ilene has hired and mentored Registered Dietitians and administrative staff in her growing private practice and consulting business. In addition to running her private practice, Ilene is the owner of RefreshRDTM, a tutoring company focusing on RD exam preparation and continuing professional education. Now in her role as a NYSAND media spokesperson, Ilene is excited to be the voice of RDNs that communicates to the public that we are the nutrition experts!

Ellie Wilson is a registered dietitian-nutritionist and Senior Nutritionist for Price Chopper/Market 32/Golub Corporation, located in Schenectady, NY. She holds a M.S. in Community Health Education, and advanced certification in several nutrition specialties. She is a co-author of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Retail Dietetics education certification. Media work includes social media as part of her work role, appearances on local news and contributions professional articles to media outlets and journals.

As Senior Nutritionist for Price Chopper and Market 32, Ellie develops and manages nutrition and health resources for the entire chain of 134 stores, and supports the Pharmacy, Food Service/QA, Public Relations and Marketing teams on various projects and programs. She facilitates several public-private partnerships, focusing on population health-nutrition linkages. Ellie is honored to be an appointee to the New York State Governor's Council on Hunger and Food Policy, and one regional food council. Ellie is a media representative for the New York State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and assists NYSAND with local and state policy linkages. She is also a food service rotation preceptor for the Troy, NY-based Sage Colleges Dietetic Internship.

Allyson has been a Registered Dietitian for 17 years and in Private Practice for 13 years. Her practice, Custom Dietetics, located in Western New York has worked with a variety of clients in the 1:1 and corporate settings including the Buffalo Sabres, Rochester Americans, Uncle Bob's Self-Storage and many more. In recent years, her practice has grown to include three other part-time Dietitians who see patients in various settings. 

In addition to running her practice, Allyson is very involved with the Western New York Dietetics Association and currently holds the position of President-Elect. Her past positions held with the organization include Reimbursement Co-Chair, a position she held for 8 years. Allyson was honored to receive the Emerging Dietetics Leader award from WNYDA in 2017 and was also the recipient of Excellence in Legislative Advocacy in 2015.

A 2000 graduate of the State University of New York College at Buffalo, Allyson is excited to be the Media Representative in the Buffalo market for NYSAND.
