Experience & Qualifications:
•Completed a Bachelor’s degree at a US regionally accredited university or college by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)•Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) •Licensed in the State of New York•Knowledge of the Joint Commission/ Critical Access/CMS/other regulation specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning and patient’s rights.•Knowledgeable with assessing and Medical Nutrition Therapy with all levels of care and disease states.•Proficient with Electronic charting, Microsoft office, as well as web-based programs.

The Clinical Nutrition Manager is responsible for the coordination of clinical nutrition services. Interacts and communicates closely with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and Director of Clinical Nutrition Services on matters of nutrition, patient services, and department and organization operations. Directs and supervises the inpatient and outpatient dietitians and dietetic technicians. Maintains responsibility for clinical services, regulatory compliance, nutritional records, and staff nutrition education. Functions as a resource to other team members in all aspects of clinical nutrition. The Clinical Nutrition Manager is familiar with the organization and functions of all areas of the department. This includes policies and procedures of the organization to provide maximum integration and coordination of clinical nutrition services with all aspects of patient and client service.
