Barbara Baron is a registered dietitian and Director of Health Professional Communications for the American Dairy Association & Dairy Council, Inc. (ADADC), a non-profit nutrition education organization recognized as an educational-scientific institution by the Federal Government. Ms. Baron conducts seminars and develops messages about dairy’s health and nutrition benefits to physicians, dietitians and community health leaders. She also serves as a nutrition expert and spokesperson conducting interviews with media and explaining dietary information in easy-to-understand terms.
Prior to joining Dairy Council, Ms. Baron worked as a clinical dietitian at The Hospital for Special Surgery, specializing in osteoporosis, orthopedic and rheumatic diseases. She is a member of several practice groups within The American Dietetic Association including Sports and Cardiovascular Nutrition; Pediatric Nutrition; Food & Culinary Professionals; Woman and Reproductive Nutrition; and served as Chair, Speakers Bureau, Nutrition Education of the Public, 2006-2007
Ms. Baron completed her Dietetic Internship at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics/Dietetics from Hunter College in New York City, and a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Physical Fitness from New York University. She is Past President of the New York State Dietetic Association; was awarded The Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year by the American Dietetic Association in 1994, and the Distinguished Dietitian of the Year from the Greater New York Dietetic Association in 2002.

J. Elizabeth Smythe (Beth) is a nutrition consultant and private practitioner in the Rochester area who specializes in weight management, nutrition and wellness. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer. Beth began her private practice in 1999. She has worked as a nutrition and wellness consultant for a privately owned supermarket chain, regularly speaks for organizations and corporations on nutrition, health and wellness issues, and is regularly seen on a local news program.
As an active volunteer, she has held many positions on both her state and local dietetic associations' boards. As an active member of the NYSDA board she is President and a Media Representative. Previous positions held include Legislative Network Coordinator and District President Representative. On the local level, Beth is Past President, Public Relations Chair and Fundraising Chair for the Genesee Dietetic Association.

Molly Morgan is the owner of Creative Nutrition Solutions, a nutrition consulting business in Upstate New York, with an emphasis on nutrition & health promotion. She consults with food companies, national consumer brands, professional athletes, the media, and school districts.

Tara R. Miller, MS RD CDN is a Registered Dietitian and nutritionist specializing in wellness and health management. She maintains a successful private practice in Manhattan entitled "Achieve Balance Nutrition and Wellness Consulting”, where she provides one-on-one counseling, corporate lectures, and health consultative services. Additionally, she provides per diem home health nutrition services with the Visiting Nurse Service of New York. An accomplished public speaker and promoter of wellness, she has multiple guest appearances on NY1’s “Healthy Living” and CBS Newspath, has been featured in many internet articles including WebMD, and collaborated with top health professionals in “Lose Weight New York,” a New York Daily News call-in promotion assisting callers in nutrition, weight management, behavior modification, diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease. A Graduate from Long Beach State University in California with a BS in Dietetics, Ms. Miller completed her nutrition accreditation while earning her masters at Stony Brook University in Health Care Management and Technology. Prior to coming to New York, she spent two years in Morocco as a Peace Corps volunteer, specializing in community health disease management, and nutrition.

Karen Ansel is a registered dietitian and freelance journalist specializing in nutrition, health and wellness. Her work has been published in national women’s and health magazines such as Family Circle, Prevention, Cooking Light, Fitness, Shape, Muscle & Fitness Hers, Weight Watchers, Women’s Health, Natural Health, Health and Marie Claire. Karen is a regular contributor to Woman’s Day and frequently writes their “Eat Smart” page dedicated to the latest breaking nutrition advice. In addition to writing for national magazines, Karen is also a contributor to Macmillan’s Nutrition and Well-Being A to Z and her work has been highlighted in The Renegade Writer’s Query Letters that Rock. Karen earned her B.A. in psychology from Duke University and a master’s degree in clinical nutrition from New York University. She is a member of several dietetic practice groups including Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutritionists, Food and Culinary Professionals, and Nutrition Entrepreneurs, for which she is a nominating committee member. Karen lives in Long Island, New York with her husband and two children. When she’s not busy writing about nutrition, she enjoys cooking, running and playing with her dog, Cosmo.

Ellie Wilson is a registered dietitian and Senior Nutritionist for Price Chopper/Golub Corporation, located in Schenectady, NY. She holds a M.S. in Community Health Education, and is additionally certified in weight management for pediatrics, adolescents, and adults.
Ms. Wilson attended Russell Sage College, where she obtained her B.S. in Nutrition Science. She then completed her internship and master’s degree at Sage Graduate School, all located in Troy, N.Y. She has held clinical dietitian positions with Seton Health Systems, Albany Clinical Nutrition, and Capital Cardiology; worked as consultant for New York State Dept. of Education for the School Meals Initiative; Outreach Director for the Oley Foundation, a non-profit that serves individuals living on tpn or tube feeding; and also had her own practice, Neighborhood Nutrition, LLC, which offered medical nutrition therapy and corporate wellness programs.
As Senior Nutritionist for Price Chopper, Ellie is developing nutrition resources for the entire chain of 116 stores. She is active professionally with the Hudson Valley Dietetic and New York State Dietetic Associations. Ellie lives with her husband Walter and son Donald in Schenectady.

Theresa is a Registered Dietitian and the Clinical Nutrition Manager at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, where she often speaks and writes about a variety of nutrition and wellness topics to physicians, patient care staff, students, and the community. A self-described “foodie”, Theresa enjoys cooking, finding and developing recipes to share with those she educates, and translating the science of nutrition into practical solutions for the home and workplace.
A graduate of New Mexico State University, Theresa completed her dietetic internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Her varied work experience has included caring for patients with kidney disease, solid organ transplants, diabetes, stroke and head-injured patients, as well as long term care Residents, pregnant mothers, and Pediatrics. She has been certified in Nutrition Support since 2002, and is also ServSafe certified in Food Safety.
With membership in the Western New York Dietetic Association and the American Dietetic Association, Theresa participates in the Dietitians in Nutrition Support, Nutrition Entrepreneurs, and Clinical Nutrition Managers dietetic practice groups. Her interests include vegetarian and vegan nutrition, obesity and weight loss, multicultural food practices, breastfeeding and infant nutrition, and intuitive eating. A collector of vintage cookbooks, Theresa lives in the suburbs of Buffalo with her husband, stepson, and daughter.
