Privacy Policy

Confidentiality of data relating to individual visitors to this site, including their identity, is respected by the NYSDA website. Details are below.

Information Collected

The NYSDA web site automatically collects and stores website traffic logs: the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet; the Internet protocol (IP) address of the computer you are using; the browser software you use and your operating system; the date and time you access our sites; and the Internet address of the site from which you linked directly to our sites.

We use this information only as anonymous aggregate data to determine the number of visitors to different sections of our sites and ensure the sites are working properly. We do not keep personally identifiable information or track or record information about individuals. We delete this information after one year.

The online registration for the NYSDA Annual Meeting and Exhibition utilizes a shopping cart technology that requires a session variable (cookie). This is needed to store and then insert the information in the site database for registration purposes. No payment information is collected on the NYSDA website. Payments are all made through PayPal. Information collected during online registration is used only for the conference.

The submission form for jobs postings collects only the information needed for the job posting that will be displayed and contact information should there be a question.

None of the information collected on the NYSDA is sold or shared with third parties.

How Information is Used and Disclosed

If you email NYSDA we use the information to answer your inquiry. We do not use this information for any other purposes or make it available to any third parties.

Outside Links

Our website links to documents located on sites maintained by other associations, organizations and businesses. Once you access another site, you are subject to the privacy policy of that site. NYSDA does not endorse any products or information on sites linked to from our website.
