The William F. Ryan Community Health Center, a federally funded, JCAHO Accredited, Multi-Site Community Health Center in Manhattan, is seeking a full time Breastfeeding Coordinator to manage the WIC Program breastfeeding initiatives. Responsibilities include oversight of the Breastfeeding Peer Counseling Program, the Breast Pump Program, as well as day-to-day breastfeeding promotion and support services for WIC Program participants. Other duties include assisting the Program Director in day to day management and providing nutrition assessment for participants when needed. Excellent benefits and competitive salary. |

The Department of Nursing and Nutrition at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh, New York invites applications for a lecturer in the Nutrition Program. This will be a non-tenure track position, effective fall 2013, to teach an undergraduate course in nutrition, conduct the Food Preparation laboratory, coordinate and supervise students' field practicum in the BS Nutrition Program. This program is accredited by the Accreditation Council on Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). Responsibilities include: The position requires planning, coordinating and supervising students at local institutions, including CVPH, the local hospital; teaching a course in nutrition; conducting the Food Preparation laboratory and oversight of the Food Service laboratory. Salary: $42,000 minimum, plus excellent benefits. |
