The NYSDA website has many valuable offerings for both NYSDA members and the public interested in improving their health. The following information will help navigate the site.
In summer 2006, the NYSDA Website Task Force Committee consisting of NYSDA leaders including several past-presidents began the job of redesigning the NYSDA Website. The committee spent an inordinate amount of time deciding how the information from the previous site could be reorganized to best serve NYSDA members. Website features were added to help reduce NYSDA expenses and time needed to administer tasks such as posting jobs - this is an automated process now.
The new site design captures an exciting, cutting-edge and peaceful feel for members and the public as they browse through the valuable content. The web development team worked hard to give standardization to the site through browser and HTML validation. See browser and viewing specifications below.
The committee's hope is you find the site easy to navigate and discover new and useful resources. We realize that to keep up with members' needs the site will need to be flexible and adaptable. Please feel free to send us feedback if you have ideas for improvement, find a broken link, or want to get involved

The NYSDA website has a long list of outstanding nutrition education resources on a variety of topics. These resources are not meant as a replacement for a health professional. Please seek the advice of a registered dietitian or your physician if you have questions.
